Founded in 1997 by Robert and Margaret Zell with one small homemade greenhouse. Hard work, patience and a commitment to customer service caused their business to grow in the Swan River area
After 14 years, The Garden Spot operates 6 greenhouses in Swan River, MB and a seasonal greenhouse in Flin Flon, MB
In 2007, a new 1,100 sq ft storefront was built using straw bale construction.
In 2010, fresh tomatoes are grown and sold locally.
In 2011, high quality organic fertilizers and other gardening supplies are available.
